Resort Manager

Requirements

Main responsibilities

  • The Resort Manager is an ambassador of the Pellicano Hotels brand towards Guests, local institutions, affiliations and suppliers, inside and outside the Hotel
  • Manages all the staff of the departments
  • Ensures that all financial and operational procedures are followed correctly
  • Oversees all matters related to the safety, security, satisfaction and well-being of hotel guests and employees
  • Manages customer complaints from all areas of the hotel, taking care of relations with guests with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism
  • It organizes periodic collective and "one to one" briefings with the Heads of departments in order to share information on the progress of the work, new procedures and other relevant information.
  • Ensures that all employees have received the necessary training for their position to maximize the level of service, production and operational efficiency
  • Ensures the implementation and compliance with company procedures (SOPs) by all employees.
  • It ensures compliance with LQA standards by all staff as a minimum requirement of the service and product offered. It suggests improvements and offers support to staff to innovate the service and product.
  • It involves all department managers in the use of CRM in order to improve the guest stay experience and their loyalty.
  • It guarantees the state of efficiency and safety of the plants in compliance with the laws in force.
  • Offers "cross-selling" and "up-selling" solutions between departments by implementing guest satisfaction and property profitability
  • Drafts a complete report by department on seasonal trends, with proposals and ideas for both strategic and operational improvement
  • Verifies and ensures that costs are in line with your budget.
  • It periodically organizes meetings with the Heads of departments for the analysis of the economic results of the month (P&L) and for the definition of the economic strategies of the department.
  • It prepares the budget for the following year by making an expenditure forecast in order to develop the income statement for the areas of competence.

The ideal candidate

  • has a proven experience in the role of Resort Manager with an experience in 5*L Hotels, ideally in southern Italy or on the islands
  • has strong organizational and communication skills
  • is a Team player and Team leader
  • has excellent knowledge of Italian and English, both written and spoken
  • has the ability to study, analyze and interpret complex activities and /or information in order to improve existing processes.
  • Has extreme attention to detail
